Rick Garson is a seasoned executive who uses 25+ years of experience in entertainment to guide his creative, innovative projects to large-scale success. He created and produced the Billboard Music Awards as well as the Blockbuster Awards, and has been an integral figure in the rise of successful pay-per-view music specials, MTV NFL Jams and Super Bowl TV Specials, and NFL Country CD/Home Video series, among others.

A businessman with a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship, Rick believes in taking risks and in constantly striving to grow outreach around the world. He moved to Beijing, China in 2013 to explore the massive potential of the Eastern market and he has since produced global TV specials based in Beijing; he also consulted for the development of Beijing National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest).

Rick Garson created VX Entertainment, which continues to break boundaries in terms of virtual reality usage in numerous sectors.  The company creates, develops, produces, and owns various global media properties and content that is helping to lead the way of using live virtual reality environments in entertainment, education, healthcare, automotive, luxury goods, and more. Rick currently lives in Beijing, China, where he continues to expand his company, VX Entertainment.
